A Royal Adventure

I just returned from a sailing on Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas cruise ship! I joined my agency, Unlocking the Magic Travel, on a Seminar at Sea cruise and took my mom along with me. We sailed 4 nights from Port Canaveral, Florida to Nassau, Bahamas and Royal Caribbean’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.

We spent the night before our cruise at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and it was as magical and luxurious as one might imagine! We enjoyed a stay in a Mary Poppins-themed room and it was so beautiful and dreamy! We enjoyed appetizers and drinks at The Enchanted Rose lounge and watched the Magic Kingdom fireworks from our resort. As a bonus, it was the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party fireworks show! We had breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe before heading to Port Canaveral.

We stayed in a stateroom with a verandah, which was wonderful to enjoy- I highly recommend getting a balcony room on a cruise! We met up with the Unlocking the Magic Travel agency team and I spent the week training on all things Royal Caribbean and got a tour of Perfect Day at CocoCay. I was blown away at the offerings on this private island! There’s truly something for everyone.

On our Nassau stop, Mom and I got a day pass to visit the Margaritaville Resort and enjoyed their beach and pool area. This week was such a great opportunity to experience Utopia of the Seas and learn all about what’s coming soon to Royal Caribbean.

Some of my favorite things we did/saw on the cruise:

  • The water show in the Aqua Theater (spectacular!)

  • The ice skating production

  • The Vitality Spa where I had a wonderful facial

  • Sliding down the 10-story Ultimate Abyss slide

  • Spending time with the Unlocking the Magic Travel team

  • All the wonderful food!

  • Adventuring with my sweet mom

I’m so grateful for a great time of training with my team and for new experiences and memories made!
